  2. @NetworkChuck Perfect video. I was just working on some of these commands in this video; it cleared things up. I was just randomly testing out different key commands and found out about some of these.💪 I hope you make PowerShell video series.

  3. Merci pour tes vidéos qui sont d une grande qualité explique tres simplement d une manière cool et accessible même aux francophones

  4. 'ls' lists the files stored in the current directory
'mv' changes the filename or directory name ex: mv currentfilename newfilename
'cp' copies a file or directory to another directory ex: cp currentfileordir /home/t1000/Desktop
'cd ..' moves back a directory
'pwd' prints the current directory you're in.

there are so many commands but as you all progress and become competent in linux you will learn everything as long as you put the time into it (:

If you truly adore linux it'll become your new gaming and it'll become a leisure activity, learning linux and understanding the filesystem is a really fun little journey.

Just remember that there is NO straight path to becoming an ethical hacker and you can never really learn everything but eventually in a couple of years you'll learn a lot if as long as you study consistently. Also, yeah learn a programming language as well (:

Lua is easier than python so i'd recommend starting there.

If i could go back and do it again i'd choose to learn a programming language first. If you aren't able to learn something as simple as that you need to be more patient and work harder.

There's so much to learn so be open minded and listen to others.

tryhackme.com is a wonderful place to start your hacking journey, i've completed everything on there so now i use htb but there are many vectors to exploiting but there are frameworks for that and i can't explain everything here because it's honestly just too hard to explain all that i've learnt throughout these years but study hard and set goals for yourself, not only to become competent in linux but one day you'll get so good that tasks that seemed hard are now easy to carry out but the only way to get to this point is by working hard and devoting your time.

I deleted all my socials a month ago and i'm thriving and learning a lot more without that distraction, imo friends are just a distraction to completing your goals, drop your friends and work towards your goals. Make friends later.

  5. as someone who likes coffee listening to you make stupid noises for it makes me hate it. id look for asmr vids for that. plus u do not explain anything well. well done

  6. Fantastic video as always, Chuck! The only thing I'd want to point out is that when adding aliases to the ~/.bashrc file, you have to tell your terminal/shell to reload the .bashrc file for the new alias to take effect. This is the case both if you edit the .bashrc file with a text editor like Vim or Nano, or if you just echo an alias into the .bashrc file a la `echo "alias lh='ls -lah'" >> .bashrc`. I usually append a `&& source .bashrc` to the end of the alias if you're echoing the alias to the file, or if you want to move further into ninja territory, you can add an alias like 'src' to your .bashrc file that runs the command `source .bashrc` so you can echo further aliases with something similar to `echo "alias doc='cd ~/Documents'" >> .bashrc && src`

  7. Well, if you want to make linux even easier use zsh, it is a powerful shell, and for example you dont need to write "cd /" you can just type "/" how cool is that? There is so much more in zsh but i am not gonna go trough all of it

  8. You were right! These really were life changing! They help me to be more professional and FAST in the terminal! Thanks so much Chuck! <3

  11. I love the videos and I thinks they are very simple and very useful for beginners. It truly annoys me when you use a sponsor for the videos. No it doesn't annoy me when you take sponsorships. I respect that and you making money is a good thing but its difficult because if I cannot use the sponsor then im put in a tricky situation because this tutorial is deemed fully unless. the sponsor of this video is inefficient and the sign up process is nonsensical and impossible to log in even after you have gone through the grueling sign up process. If this came off as judgmental or unfair to you I'm sorry. I truly mean no malice.

  12. I believe in on 👆👆telegram always because I have deal with him and no red cap I bet him go get your cc from him not like the other craps.

  13. I sent this to my parents (76 and 80), because we use Manjaro. 90% of this is review, but it is perfect and added knowledge. YOU ROCK CHUCK!
