You are the sales manager for Oxford Auto Sales, a Web-based auto dealer that specializes in online transactions. As part of your duties you generate weekly reports that detail new customer contacts, online sales rep information, and sales. This week you have decided to overhaul your report by updating agent contact information, importing customer data stored in a text file, implementing a PivotTable using Power Pivot, and utilizing 3D Maps to track sales.

1 Start Excel. Download and open the file named Exp19_Excel_Ch10_Cap-AutoSales.xlsx. Grader has automatically added your last name to the beginning of the filename.
2 Use Get & Transform (Power Query) to import the file e10c1Agents.csv.
3 Rename the worksheet Agents.
4 Use Get & Transform (Power Query) to import the Vehicles table from the file e10c1Vehicles.accdb.
5 Rename the worksheet Sales.
6 Load the file e10c1Customer_Leads.txt in the Power Query Editor. Use the Power Query Editor to ensure the first row is used as Headers. Close and load the table.
7 Rename the worksheet Customer_Leads.
8 Add the Vehicles, e10c1Agents, and e10c1Customer_Leads tables to the data model.

10 Use Power Pivot to create a PivotTable on Sheet1 starting in cell B3. Add the Last field from the e10c1Agents table to the Rows area and Price from the Vehicles table to the Values area.

12 Insert a Clustered Column Pivot Chart. Position the chart so the upper left corner is in the center of cell D3.
13 Add the Chart Title Sales.
14 Rename the worksheet SalesAnalysis.
15 Create a 3D Map based on the Vehicles table in the Sales Worksheet. Add City and State to the Location dimension. Zoom in so Los Angeles fills the entire map.
16 Edit Scene 1 by changing the name to West Coast, setting the Scene duration to 6 seconds, and setting the Transition Effect to Dolly.
17 Add a new scene called East Coast. Zoom out and reposition the map to view the Eastern seaboard.
18 Set the Scene duration to 6 seconds, and set the Transition Effect to Dolly.
19 Edit the connection properties of e10c1Agents.CSV, e10c1Vehicles.accdb, and e10c1Customer_Leads.txt to refresh when opening the file.
20 Save and close Exp19_Excel_Ch10_Cap-AutoSales.xlsx. Exit Excel. Submit the file as directed.
