Domaine des Sénéchaux - Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Located in the Southern Rhone, Domaine des Sénéchaux sits on one of the oldest vineyards in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. With a total surface of 27 hectares, and a history dating back to the fourteenth century, the property owes its name to one of its very first plots: Bois Sénéchaux.

Our main homogeneous cultural blocks (Sénéchaux, Revès and Grand Pierre) lie on clay-based soils, rich in rolled pebbles and gravel. Our traditional viticultural methods include short cane pruning, frequent ploughing and green leaf-thinning, all of which contribute to sustainable practices.

The Domaine is predominantly composed of Grenache Noir, followed by Syrah and Mourvèdre. Once combined, these grape varieties offer rich, spicy and full-bodied reds.
