Apex Legends on Steam Deck at 60fps | Tap Strafing and Best Aim Controller Settings (Season 18)

UPDATE:
I’m getting reports that some people cannot find my layout on the steam community page. Here is a workaround :

(keyboard and mouse recommend for these steps)

1. Open desktop mode
2. Close Steam entirely (Exit Steam)
3. Open Konsole and copy/paste the following: xdg-open steam://controllerconfig/1172470/3015550356
4. Run the command by pressing the Return key, wait for the Steam to start back up
5. You’ll probably see an empty layout after a few seconds. Hit the ‘B’ button on the deck to exit
6. Copy/Paste and run the previous Konsole command again
7. You should now see the layout. Hit ‘X’ on the Steam Deck to apply

Alternatively you can also setup the gyro in Steam manually:

Gyro: As Joystick
VSS: 100
CRC: 200
ESMP: 1
Rotation: 0
MT: 0
MJXOV: 1
MJYOV: 1
GOS: 150

(These settings require NO deadzone and Linear Response curve in the game settings.
These gyro settings of course do not include Tap Strafing.)
