Introduction to IBM DB2

IBM DB2 is a Relational database which stores the data in the form of rows and columns. Mainframe operating system allows users to build, access and maintain Relational databases using SQL(Structured Query Language).

Types of Database System
Hierarchical – IMS DB
Network – IDMS
Relational – DB2, Oracle etc.
