Linux into Emergency / Recovery mode

Your Linux ECS enters the emergency mode during startup, and displays the message “Welcome to emergency mode”, asking you to enter the password of user root for maintenance.

Type root password and login.s

Edit the fstab and comment on /dev/mapper/cl-home because I have unmounted this drive.

So if you have unmounted other drive according to that you need to change.

if in Emergency mode need to type the user(if users exists) password or root password.

[root@backup ~]# vi /etc/fstab

once comments on home directory fstab need to restart server.

once restart done server will run as normal mode.
