Samsung SDS wanted to modernize their Knox Portal by moving to a microservices architecture and open source software. To this end, they decided to migrate from Oracle to MariaDB Enterprise Server. With MariaDB they were able to achieve a zero-downtime upgrade and migration that addresses their business continuity requirements, including global real-time data synchronization with change data capture.
