How do I stop files from going to OneDrive 2023

If your files from Desktop, Documents and Pictures fill up your OneDrive. Then, watch this 50 seconds tutorial to learn how to stop OneDrive from backing up your local files!

OneDrive only give 5 GB free storage. So, as soon as OneDrive starts to backup all your local files from your Desktop, documents and pictures folder, then all your 5 GB storage will be used. Then, OneDrive would keep asking you to buy extra storage. Luckily, there is an option to disable OneDrive from backing up your local files to the cloud.

NOTE:
You could either right click or left click on the cloud icon to access the gear icon (Help & Settings)!

If you’re not using OneDrive at all, then you could “Unlink this PC”, otherwise, since we have already disabled all the Windows backup files and folders, you don’t need to unlink your OneDrive!
