In this video, we are looking at the lifetime of consumer hard drives versus enterprise hard drives versus enterprise SSDs, when writing to them constantly over a long period of time. Which drives will die first? That’s what we aim to answer in this ongoing experiment. In this video, you will be able to see real output data provided by a powerful tool called fio.
