The product page for Arc A770 went live this week without any formal word from ASRock. It appears that the new Arc GPU will feature twice the memory capacity of the existing Phantom Gaming model while retaining the same cooling design as the original. Therefore, the Intel Arc A770 GPU family will now expand to ten models, with half of them being 16GB models, including the now discontinued Limited Edition. ASRock has not confirmed the existence of the new Phantom Gaming OC (A770 PG 16GO) model; we couldn’t find any information on the company website. According to the Newegg page, this card would have the same GPU clock as the 8GB model, running at 2.2 GHz (100 MHz higher than Intel reference specs). In terms of pricing, the card is currently listed at $329, slightly cheaper than the A770 LE just a few weeks ago, but $50 more expensive than the 8GB model. Newegg does not currently offer any cheaper Arc A770 cards, with the only alternative being the Predator BiFrost from Acer, priced at $399. It’s worth noting that just last week, this model could be obtained for as little as $282. Gamers should definitely pay attention to Acer and ASRock offers, who are now getting into a small price war.
