Nvidia's RTX 4070 at $599 Is Still NOT Worth It – More Marketing Antics

We all knew not to believe the outrageous rumors where Nvidia would price the RTX 4070 dangerously close to the RTX 4070 Ti and that it would cost considerably less. I initially thought that the RTX 4070 would be around $650, so at $599 it’s a bit better, though this is a GPU that isn’t anything to get excited about. It breaks the tradition of being an X70 class GPU that will deliver previous gen flagship performance at an appropriate price point. At best you’re looking at an RTX 3080 with 2GB additional vram, and support for frame generation. It just another GPU where you’re paying more to get less for your money.
