In this demonstration, I walk you through the steps for creating a guest VM in the ESXi hypervisor server. In this example, we use the Ubuntu OS which is pulled from the Internet repository by the ESXi 7 as opposed to providing the ISO by the end-user. In this example, we are using thin provisioning for data storage. I will demonstrate other VM installation options within the ESXi in future videos including how to expand the capacity of the default datastore1 on your ESXi server.
