– Azure Container Instances (ACI) has introduced a preview of ACI Spot containers.- ACI Spot containers offer a cost-effective pricing plan by utilizing unused Azure compute capacity. – Users can run interruptible, containerized workloads at up to 70% discounted prices compared to standard ACI containers – ACI Spot containers are suitable for short-lived workloads that can tolerate Azure interruptions. – Use cases include image rendering, genomic processing, Monte Carlo simulations, burst workloads, and development or test workloads. – Benefits include reduced costs, increased flexibility, and seamless integration with Azure CLI and Azure portal. – The public preview of ACI Spot containers is available in West Europe, East US, and West US2 regions.
