Recovering the server – Part 1 – winload.exe is missing or corrupt

Commands:
bootrec /scanos
Bcdedit /export C:BCDBkp
ren c:bootbcd bcd.old
Bootrec /rebuildbcd

You might have to copy the winload.exe file manually. A copy is usually located in the folder %systemroot%system32boot or directly from

the windows installation disc.
