פרגמנטים של קינה על אבדן ילדים

הקטע “אל מעזאיּה”- כתוב בהשראת טקסטים מתוך קינות שנאספו ע”י ד”ר ורד מדר, בסיוע ד״ר אורי מלמד , בעבודת הדוקטורט שלה “שירי נשים מתימן ליולדות וקינותיהן על מתים: טקסט, גוף וקוֹל.” .
הקינות שאספו הקליטו ותרגמו, הן בעצם ביצועים חד פעמיים המבוצעים כל פעם אחרת.
שמות המקוננות מהן קיבלתי השראה לטקסט המשוכתב: מזל ציוני, סַעְדַּה צֻבּיְרִי, יונה עוזרי, אורה ימיני, בִּנְתּ פֻצַּיְל, הַּוִידַּה בן דוד, בְּנַיֵּה חַלֵּא, רוּמִיֵה צַבַּרִי.

Lament fragments about children’s loss

The section “Al Mazaya” – written and inspired by texts from lamentations collected by Dr. Vared Madar, with the assistance of Dr. Uri Melamed, in her doctoral thesis “Yemenian women’s songs for childbirth and their laments for the dead: text, body, and voice.”.
The laments they collected, recorded, and translated are one-time performances performed differently every time.
Names of the mourners from which I got the inspiration for the rewritten text: Mazal Tzioni, Saada Zubeiri, Yona Ozeri, Ora Yemini, Bint Fuzil,Hawida Be David, Bnaye Khile, Rumya Tzabari.
