Make a Switch the Root Bridge for a VLAN

Per VLAN Spanning-Tree or PVST is a Cisco technology to prevent switching loops while utilizing all the links.
One switch could have a port that is blocking for a VLAN, but forwarding for another, it depends on which switch you setup as the root.

Practice this in a lab environment and become more familiar with the protocol.
