The TOMCAT Model 250 AFE Wood Chippers is the perfect unit for tree-fellers, road contractors and plant hire companies. Large enough to be classified as a high production unit, yet small enough to be moved around on site. The hydraulic lift & crush feature gives the operator the ultimate control by improving efficiency by crushing side branches and allowing the top feed roller to climb onto large logs with ease. The toolbox is added to carry the necessary tools and a spare wheel is included for peace of mind when on site. The 250 Series with an ultra wide in-feed opening and ultra powerful PARKER hydraulic motors makes this unit a must-have when chipping brush with lots of side branches. The foldable feed tray comes standard and assists the operator in placing large amounts of small material into the machine and creating a safer working distance for feeders and the operator. This unit is also available in PTO for the tractor and various trailerized options are available.
