In this video, we get to look at Acer’s foray into the GPU market as it vies for EVGA’s former spot — something they directly confirmed to us — and tries to break out of just being pre-builts. Acer has its new Orion X small form factor mini-ITX gaming PC & standalone case, and this water-cooled RTX 4090 is included in that. Currently, NVIDIA has not approved Acer to be a board partner — but enough groundswell interest from the community could encourage NVIDIA to change its stance. Maybe Acer is big enough that it concerns NVIDIA. Acer is approved for Intel, though, and previously made the BiFrost Arc card. Acer also has AMD cards on the way and just launched an RX 7600 — and it showed us a mechanical only prototype for an AMD card.
