Edwin van der Sar resigns as Ajax Chief Executive

In a statement Edwin van der Sar said ‘after almost eleven years on the board, I am done’.

Van der Sar’s walk-out comes after Ajax missed out on qualifying for the Champions League as he was booed by supporters at the sides final home game of the season.
