Active-Active Geo-Replication Features in Redis Enterprise

Check out how Active-Active Geo-replication with Redis Enterprise enables globally distributed data to be delivered at local latency. Learn how → https://redis.com/lp/why-redis-enterprise/

Active-Active Geo-replication lets you create replicas of your database and distribute them around the world. One of the great features of Redis Enterprise Active-Active replicas is that they are all writable—meaning anyone can change anything at any time. All of those changes are distributed to all of the replicas and resolved automatically, so the replicas are correct and consistent once the changes are processed.

This video highlights a couple of great features of this technology:
• CRDTs (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types), a set of rules that precisely define how changes are reconciled.
• High Availability, demonstrated by Redis Enterprise’s guarantee of 99.999% availability as long as the replicas are distributed across at least two data centers.
