Steam Deck: Install Drivers for Xbox Wireless Adapter (cordless rumble and back paddle support)

There are a lot of guides and posts talking about how to get the Xbox Wireless Adapter working on the Steam Deck. I finally found a bash script that actually delivers the goods.

In this video, I’ll give you all the warnings you need to know about what this script does … then we’ll install it and connect an Xbox Elite controller and verify rumble, back paddles both work while connected wirelessly.
