(WATCH IN HD) SPOILERS FROM EPISODES UP TILL 42! omg..THE FEELS ONCE AGAIN! 2 MAJOR DEATHS THIS WEEK..

So this week one of the protagonists died, Ying KongShi. Their bromance was literally strong right until the very end and will continue to go strong. The love that Shi had for Ka Suo literally extended right past that of a brother, despite not being blood- related the strong bond between them is beautiful. The things that Shi said and his last words to Ka Suo in the dream were so painful, I couldn’t help but tear up into a sobbing mess. We’d been with him since episode 1, with him promising to free his older brother so he could live his life how he wanted to.

Yan Da’s reaction to Shi’s death was heartbreaking too, and the fact she still refuses to give up hope for him warms my heart. I truly love her character, despite her being a villain I sympathize with her a lot. Can not wait for when Shi is reincorinated as the Fire Prince; Li Tian Jin. I’m eager to know what the interaction will be like considering Yan Da wasn’t in the novel so how their relationship will run now I haven’t a clue.

Ka Suo..oh how my heart literally bleeds for this poor soul. He’s not only lost all his siblings in the past to the Fire Tribe, but his wife died in front of him on their wedding day, now Kong Shi died for him. And now his mother was killed by Lotus as an act of revenge for her son; Shi’s death.

Who knows what’ll happen this coming Wednesday and Thursday, think it might be time to deal with the North, South, West and the other Guardians. Although I’m not sure how the TV adaptation will handle it.
