GroovePages 2022 CloudFlare Setup For Custom Domains [ GrooveFunnels ]

This tutorial shows how to configure CloudFlare DNS Records to connect your #CustomDomain to #GroovePages.

There are a couple of ways you can connect your custom domain to your GroovePages (or GrooveSell, GrooveSell Tracking and GrooveBlog).

In this tutorial, I show how I connect my custom domain to GroovePages using CloudFlare to host my DNS Records.

My domain registrar is Namecheap, but you can follow the same process with GoDaddy, etc by pointing your Nameservers to CloudFlare where you then manage your records/settings.

You can setup your Custom Domain without using your own CloudFlare account because GroovePages also uses CloudFlare, but the reason I use CloudFlare directly is because I can’t use Page Rules if I setup my Custom Domain DNS Records in GrooveFunnels.

By using my own CloudFlare account, I’m able to add page rules so that no matter what version of my URL is typed in, it always resolves to https://www.mycustomdomain.com.

That means if someone types in any of the following formats:

http://mycustomdomain.com
https://mycustomdomain.com
http://www.mycustomdomain.com
https://www.mycustomdomain.com

They will all end up going to https://www.mycustomdomain.com. This is not only good for keeping your domain consistent, but it’s very important if you’re concerned about SEO – you should force your website to be either www or non-www, but not both.

You should also make sure the site always goes to https:// for security purposes and also because your visitors will see an insecure warning if you don’t.

This tutorial walks you through how I set up my Domains inside of CloudFlare to accomplish all of these, and then how to connect it to GroovePages to publish your site using your own Custom Domain.
