Genshin Impact on Steam Deck Part 1: Sumeru Commissions (3.6)

The game is played on Windows 10 in a 1TB SSD Steam Deck (originally 64GB eMMC) with dual boot configuration. I’ve noticed most showcases out there only feature Mondstadt and Liyue. Inazuma and Sumeru are more demanding regions, especially the latter for its sheer size. I’ll be sure to show Inazuma within the next few videos.

In-game footage is captured by using the Elgato HD60+ capture card. Game looks clear on the Deck, don’t be fooled by the slight blur in the video. However the Deck’s built-in screen doesn’t show accurate colors. The inaccuracy is most noticeable when using purple characters, they appear slightly blue.

Borders appear on both sides of the video because the resolution in-game is set to 800p. Game is smooth but not 60 FPS, runs mostly in between 40 to 50 FPS depending on the area and scenario.
