RTX 4090 vs RTX 3090 MEGA Benchmark 4K 42 GAMES TESTED – The Best Gen-on-Gen Upgrade?

I look at the RTX 4090 as more of direct successor to the RTX 3090 instead of the RTX 3090 Ti. Both have cut down 102 dies from their generation and we released at around the same price point. In my initial review I only benchmarked 12 games but had planned at some point to do one large mega benchmark video where I would test lots of titles. I tested 42 various titles at 4K and also had ray tracing enabled where available. This will allow us to attain lots of data and see how big of a leap the RTX 4090 is over the RTX 3090.
