Intel Begins Manufacturing Meteor Lake CPUs for 2021 Release

Intel’s 2021 processor lineup just got a little more exciting! Intel recently announced that its upcoming 10th-generaton Meteor Lake processors have begun manufacturing. Meteor Lake is the codename for Intel’s next-generation x86 microarchitecture and is set to power an entire range of desktop and laptop computers when it releases at the end of 2021.

This new processor technology brings a host of advancements to Intel’s lineup, such as increased system performance and energy efficiency. Meteor Lake chips also feature new industry-leading process technologies, turbo-boost technology, and enhanced media capabilities, allowing users to experience greater productivity and smoother operation. Intel’s new processors promise to deliver up to twice the performance of 11th-generation Tiger Lake processors and more than double the performance of the current 9th-generation Comet Lake chips.

Meteor Lake will also be Intel’s first-ever 5 nanometer processor, allowing for higher clock speeds, additional cores, and greater performance for a wide range of applications. This new processor technology has been developed to power the future of computing, from gaming to enterprise. With Meteor Lake, users will be able to enjoy an enhanced virtual reality experience, faster render times, an improved multi-threaded performance, and more.

Intel’s Meteor Lake chips will be available later in 2021, and on their release, they will supersede the existing 10th-generation Comet Lake processors and provide a much-needed boost to computing performance.
