For customers who do not want to purchase virtual resources from the public hardware pool, the Open Telekom Cloud also offers so-called dedicated hosts. For dedicated resources – as the name implies – a dedicated host is held for a user. On this host, users can use the same functionality as in the regular public cloud. The Dedicated Host’s approach is reminiscent of the Private Cloud. Tenants receive exclusive physical resources. The user networks (VPCs) are isolated on layers 2 and 3.
