Eric was kind enough to send me over a new SSD they’ve been working on for review, this is a 2230 sized NVME SSD for the steam deck. This size is commonly found in these new hand held PC gaming devices, most notably the steam deck, the Aya neo series, and the upcoming ASUS ROG Ally…

Drive fit great, installed fine, reused the thermal tape jacket, and only took less than 20mins with a small Phillips and a plastic spudger/pry tool. reloading the Steam Deck OS took about another 20mins. The drive benchmarked FAST! Scoring about the same as A similar WD SSD 2TB drive, which is impressive as larger drives tend to be a little faster than smaller ones!
