About UNMUTE:
Founded in 2019 and led by teen age student musicians in Maryland. UNMUTE strives to restore and revive the sound output of not only their musical instruments but also the voices of their audience. The group focuses on outreach programs and providing opportunities for K-12 students to serve the community with open hearts and open music. Through music performances, students learn to share their unique talents with those in need and to bring color and hope to the lives of many.

Beginning from August of 2019, student musicians organized by UNMUTE share their love and music on every other Saturday in the local assisted living facilities in Maryland. Starting from April of 2020, UNMUTE desires to continually connect to senior residents by launching Virtual Concerts while combating COVID-19. Student Musician Volunteers stay at home to practice, perform, and record their performance video with the hope to continually bring smiles and music to their audience.
