Manage DHCP from another Server (Windows Server 2019)

1. Prepare

– DC31 : Domain Controller(Yi.vn) | DC32 : DHCP Server, IP 10.0.0.32

– DC33 : Domain Member (Without DHCP Role), IP 10.0.0.33

– WIN71, WIN72, WIN101, WIN102 : Client receive IP from DHCP server

2. Step by step : Manage DHCP from DC33

– WIN71, WIN72, WIN1091 set to receive IP from DHCP server (DC32)

– DC32 : Check DHCP service === OK

– DC33 : Install DHCP Server Tools and add to reservation for WIN71

+ Server Manager – Manage – Add Roles and Features – Next to Features – Remote Server Administration Tools

– Role Administration Tools – DHCP Server Tools – Install – Close

+ Tools – DHCP – Right-click DHCP – Add Server… – Choose “This authorized DHCP server:”

– Choose “dc32.Yi.vn” – OK

+ Extend 10.0.0.32 – IPv4 – Scope Test – Address Leases – Right-click WIN71 – Add to Reservation – OK
