How to connect your domain to HubSpot.
In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how to connect your domain to HubSpot.
To publish your HubSpot-hosted content online, you can connect your domain to HubSpot. The type of content that you can publish to your domain depends upon the user’s subscription type.
Steps to follow:
Step 1. To connect your Domain to your HubSpot account, click the settings icon in the main navigation bar.
Step 2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Website Domains & URLs.
Click Connect a domain.
Step 3. Select the type of domain you want to connect.
Step 4. Primary, the subdomain will be the default content host for the selected content types in HubSpot.
Step 5. Secondary, the subdomain can host HubSpot content but will not be set as the default for your content.
Step 6. Redirect, this subdomain won’t host any content but automatically redirects to another domain connected in HubSpot.
Step 7. Email Sending, the subdomain will add another layer of authentication to your HubSpot emails.
Step 8. Click Connect.
Step 9. After selecting your domain type.
Step 10. Select the checkboxes next to the content types you plan to host on this domain.
Step 11. Click Next. In the text field, enter your domain. This will be the root domain, such as website.com, rather than the subdomain. Click Next.
Step 12. Verify your U-R-Ls Set up the four components of your Domain, Subdomain, Brand domain, Top-level domain, and Primary language.
Step 13. Click Next Up next. Set up your Hosting Setup By updating your DNS records, select all the checkboxes, and verify.
That’s how you can connect your domain to HubSpot.
