We start with the #database track at the #FOSSASIA Summit. Welcome back post-pandemic, let’s see what is on offer in the current database #ecosystem from #MySQL to #PostgreSQL, #MongoDB, #InnoDB, #MariaDB, #Percona, #Wasm, #Redis, #NoSQL solutions and database tools.
In the #Hardware, #Firmware, #Chips track speakers discuss #OpenSource hardware technologies. Hardware design includes mechanical drawings, #schematics, bills of material #BOM, #PCB layout data, #HDL source code and integrated circuit layout data and in addition the software that drives the hardware. All are released under free terms. A big topic is the #RISC-V open chip design that is gaining more and more momentum. Other topics discussed include scaling distributed manufactoring, #FPGA tools and development, embedded software, #Zephyr #RTOS, #RaspberryPI, automated #testing of amateur radios, open source firmware, #libcamera, haptic communicator, and live coding music with #SonicPi.
