On Monday, Judge Shana Rooks Malone delayed Hannah Payne’s murder trial after her defense attorney Matthew Tucker apparently failed to inform the court that he recently suffered a stroke. No definitive trial date has been set. Payne faces murder charges for shooting 62-year-old Kenneth Herring while trying to perform a citizen’s arrest, which she claims was in self-defense.
