#24 – Networking – SSH Remote Login on Linux CentOS 8

Learn to use Secure Shell (SSH) to remote login from one linux machine to another and transfer the files and directories securely in Linux CentOS 8. Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic network protocol that allows secure data transfers between computers and networks. In Linux, We use ssh command to remote login from one host to another. To use SSH, we must know the ip address of the host that we want to connect, the username in that host and the password for that username. The default port number of SSH is 22 but we can change the default ssh port number.
