Earlier today, Party Leader Shyne Barrow congratulated the new U.D.P. standard bearer for Queen Square, following a resounding victory on Sunday during a constituency convention. Godwin Haylock and Shane Williams contested the candidacy for that electoral division under the United Democratic Party. When the polls closed later that evening, Haylock, a close relative of incumbent Area Representative Denise “Sista B” Barrow, had trounced Williams by more than six hundred votes. Barrow also commended the valiant effort put forward by Shane Williams. .
