Q: Do we have to use a USB to install Windows 10?
A: If your computer is working and can go online then no. You can simply use the ‘Update Now’ option here; https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10. If your computer is not working and cannot go online then yes, you will have to use a USB.
Q: Will this delete my data?
A: Yes. As shown here, a new install will delete your data. Back up your data before installing Windows new. Or, do not delete the desired partitions.
Q: Its asking for a product key?
A: Some computers will automatically pull the product key from the computer during install. If not, you will have to read it from the stick under the computer.
