Asrock ARC A770 + Ryzen FPS – Tarkov, Rust, CS:GO, Valorant Benchmark Tested – Competitive with RTX?
Today we’re pitting the A770 against popular competitive titles: Escape from Tarkov, Rust, Counter Strike Global Offensive 2*, and Valorant to see the FPS in which benchmarks most do not.
Of course, it will be much faster with anything from 13th gen intel or Ryzen 5600/x and above. We’re using the most average computer setup that I can think of, a Ryzen 5500 / 5600g 6 core 12 thread paired with cheap fast B Die/E Die 4400MHz ram on a cheap fast B550 motherboard and a Patriot Burst Elite SSD, Standing on a 600W Gamdias/Corsair/Coolermaster(don’t buy CM)/EVGA 80+ bronze Power supply, with a VLI805 USB card and 8822BU USB Wifi for lowered input lag.
Comparison video with the RTX 3070 coming soon! It’s still 10-20% slower than the RTX in most titles, but at nearly half the pprice you literally can’t go wrong.
There’s still some microstutters and long load lag that needs to be fixed by intel drivers, or a fast SSD, but for now the base test system of a Ryzen 5500/5600g or Ryzen 5600, will net you a similar FPS result at the end of the day.
Overall, really impressed by the first showing of the lowered bandwidth version of the A770 By Asrock, Phantom Gaming OC edition, which has proven extremely responsive over all the NVIDIA cards I’ve tried, despite having less FPS in general.
Once again, FPS =/= Input Lag, and that’s quite plain to see if you bought one of these cards yourself.

You can search for these adapters on Aliexpress. I used the fovore 2 port adapter (Powered or not is fine) Use the VL805 or the newer ones with DIFFERENT MODEL CHIPSET if you need more than 3 USB ports. The 7 port cards and whatnot need higher end chips to support plugging audio, wifi, mouse, and keyboard into at the same time or the mouse or keyboard input will pause for sound/wifi.
