4. Domain Registration

This quick guide will inform you how to register a domain.

Expand the domain management section in the Control Panel menu and click on “Domain registration”. Enter the name you’re interested in and if it is available tick the checkbox next to the name and proceed to the shopping cart.
On the second step of the wizard, you can add extra features such as spam filtering, domain forwarding, whois privacy protection, or protect the domain with an SSL certificate.

In order to complete the order, you need to associate contact information and nameservers with the domain. It is easier to pick a contact that has been created in the system earlier or add new using ‘Plus’ icon. For simplicity, we recommend using the Openprovider nameservers. It is free, has a high resistance to DDoS attacks, and supports DNSSEC. That helps to keep your DNS zone safe and your websites available.

Now you are ready to complete your order. Once the domain is requested your order will be provisioned asynchronously and you will be notified via email once registration is completed. For most TLDs, it does not take longer than a minute to complete the task.
