Accessing MariaDB SkySQL via Serverless Functions Part II

This video continues the discussion and demonstration on how to use serverless functions with #MariaDB #SkySQL that was presented in part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXg10JP6q4U&t=1s

As presented in part 1, serverless functions, sometimes referred to as microservices, are common components of architectures that support web scale and IoT applications among others. Both are characterized by having high throughput, scale up/scale down requirements, with many such applications also requiring transactional data consistency. In this video, the focus is on inserting, versus accessing, data into MariaDB SkySQL. It can be used as a starting point for applications that handle streaming data, which are often processed by serverless functions for downstream analytics.
