Hello guys welcome to codingpursuits.com. This is Part one of our series ios app development tutorials in swift. In this video we will
discuss about the software and hardware requirement the type of mac machine and development environment for starting iOS application development.

For making iPhone application you need 3 components.
1) Compatible MAC Machine 2) Developer Apple ID 3) XCode
So let us see which type of MAC you, should buy. For this go to apple.com/macOS. you will be navigated to latest version of mac operating system. From menu go to section “How to Upgrade”
scroll down to page and you will see “MAC Hardware Requirements”. Here is the list of all type of mac machine and their compatible models for latest MAC OS. Make sure that your MAC machine model matches with this required model range
Let us check whether our system model falls in given range. For this go to About menu of system.

Here we have MacBook Pro 2017. Which is fulfills the hardware requirement for latest macOS Mojave to be installed.
Make sure that you have installed the latest system software.
As you can see that our MAC System is up to dated.
