In this video we will show you how to improve VLAN security by limiting access to your traffic data with VLAN tagging (VLAN mapping) configuration.

Considerations:
– The Bridge mode is required.
– In order to have management in all the network, configure the management VLAN ir the AP and Clients.
-VLANs require either a VLAN Switch or a Router.

The VLAN mapping can be done in the Access Point or Station. Do not use the VLAN mapping on the AP and CPE in parallel, because it won’t work.

All traffic from clients connected to the same SSID are going to have the same VLAN.

1. Connect the LigoDLB unit to the management IP.
2. Enable the map to data VLAN option with an ID between 2-4095 on the Access Point and save your configuration.
3. The VLAN tagging can be configured in the Station. Each client requires the map to data VLAN configuration. .
