Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel. Today we’re going to be talking about how to add MySQL and other components or modules to your existing XAMPP installation.

First, let’s go over the necessary software and tools you’ll need. You’ll need to have XAMPP already installed on your computer, as well as the MySQL and other components or modules that you want to add. You’ll also need to download and install the latest version of XAMPP.

Step 1: Close XAMPP and any running services.

Step 2: Download the latest version of XAMPP that includes the additional components you want to add.

Step 3: Create a new folder on your computer and extract the downloaded XAMPP file into that folder.

Step 4: Open the XAMPP control panel, and stop all running services.

Step 5: Go to the folder where you installed your existing XAMPP installation, and copy the “php” and “mysql” folders to your new XAMPP folder.

Step 6: Copy the MySQL Folder.

Step 7: Now open the new XAMPP Control Panel and start the Apache and MySQL services.

Step 8: Hit next, I’m going to uncheck that next, next, and it’ll start installing on that other folder, so over here I have my normal zamp files, and I’m simply going to go ahead and open up the second folder that I just created

Step 9: Go to your web browser and type in “http://localhost” to ensure that everything is running smoothly and the new components have been added successfully.

And that’s it, you’ve successfully added MySQL and other components to your existing XAMPP installation. It’s that easy.
