Remove all email domains with Find and Replace in Excel

This video shows you a typical example of removing string that ends with with specific pattern. E.g. Remove email domain (or keep only user name) from a bunch of email addresses.

With single column of emails, Flash Fill would be the best option. However with multiple columns of emails, Find and Replace is the best choice. The magic comes with the special character “*”, that is the wildcard for text string of any length.
