ESXI 7 Switch and VM for Cisco VLAN Access Mode & External Switch Tagging Configuration Part 6

In this Video I will Install and configure an ESXI 7.0 standard Switch and 3 Virtual Machines to connect to cisco switches via VLAN access mode and External Switch VLAN tagging.

On the esxi side, port groups will be set to VLAN 0 and NIC teaming policy will be set to default “Route based on originating virtual port ID”.

First We will need to remove the three physical Network Adapters leaving one assigned to switch 0. We then create 3 Virtual Machine Port Groups for a new standard switch, switch1, and assign one physical(vmnic1 to 3) Network adapter for each Virtual Machine port group.
Then I will Install 3 Tiny linux virtual machines, assign ip address each with different subnet and each connected to a VM port group.
